Lucien Easton is a filmmaker and artist based in Stockholm. He studied fine art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and graduated from the European itinerant MFA program DocNomads. His practice moves between film, sound and installation, often exploring memory, imagination and human encounters. 

His short film, Mormor (2025), premiered at the Gothenburg Film Festival, received an Honourable Mention at the Tempo Documentary Festival, and has since screened internationally at festivals including Vienna Shorts, Nordisk Panorama and London Short Film Festival. 

Alongside his film work, he has presented video installations and sound works in gallery and academic contexts, including university screenings in Amsterdam, Budapest and Lisbon, as well as through independent radio platforms.

I am currently developing a new film project that investigates the afterlife of death estates in Stockholm.
